How to reheat grilled wings and keep them crisp
Two ways to reheat cooked wings: oven or air fryer, adjusting the time to their size and quantity.

Grilled wings are best freshly cooked, but if you have leftovers or ordered too many, here is how to revive them without making them rubbery.
Air fryer (the best option)
- Arrange them in a single layer and reheat until the centre reaches 70 °C for at least 2 minutes; adjust the time to their size and quantity.
- No oil is needed: the skin crisps up on its own.
Oven
- Preheat the oven, place the wings on a rack and reheat until the centre reaches 70 °C for at least 2 minutes; adjust the time to their size and quantity.
- Place a tray underneath for the juices; the rack lets air circulate on all sides for crisp skin.
What does NOT work
- Microwave: the skin softens and the meat dries out in places.
- Covered frying pan: steam makes the skin rubbery.
If they are already cooked, refrigerate them as soon as possible and do not leave them at room temperature for more than 2 hours. Keep refrigerated and reheat only the portion you will serve.
